Discernment and Team Formation (Also a Webinar)

On Nov. 11 at 4pm EST, CityGate will host a free webinar with Tracy Mathews of Attune:

Receptivity, Discernment and Formation

Listen. Discern. Go. It seems so simple. Yet in practice, it is challenging and sometimes painful. We live in a fast-paced world with so much information, challenge, and opportunity swirling in our orbits that it can feel impossible to slow down enough to listen to one another, ourselves, and God.

Join us on Thursday, November 11th at 4 p.m. ET to hear from Tracy Mathews, entrepreneur and shepherd of the Attune Spiritual Journey. She will teach us how to strengthen our skills to slow down and truly discern what God is offering our team and organization in this season.

In preparation for the webinar, CityGate asks participants to read this brief Attune blog post on team formation, by Erin Sloane:

One of our team’s favorite passages in the Bible is Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” 2020 was a year like no other – a wilderness, a global pandemic, the first ever stay at home orders, racial and political unrest, everywhere we turned there was uncertainty. But through it all God has continued to nudge us forward, toward the creation of a new thing.

We remain focused on spiritual attunement for daily work and life, but who we serve has shifted – towards leaders and teams venturing into new territory. We are now so pleased to announce that The Call to Work is officially relaunching as Attune to Grow, Inc.

The evolution of Attune can only be described as a series of small yeses to God, followed by small steps of faith.
